MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — The Middle Tennessee volleyball team faced off with Louisiana Tech for their first match of the weekend. The Blue Raiders had a great day in the office offensively and defensively, hitting .352 as a team and holding the Lady Techsters to .149.
The Blue Raiders (14-9, 3-6 C-USA) bounced back from a three-loss streak, sweeping LA Tech (10-15, 3-7 C-USA), with set scores of 25-15, 25-21, and 25-22. The first and third set had a combined two tied scores and no lead changes, seeing the Blue Raiders dominate those sets with ease. The Blue Raiders had 43 kills to the Lady Techsters 32 on the night to go along with the six to three service ace difference.
