MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee softball fell to the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers, 2-1, on April 12 to even the series at one apiece.
The Blue Raiders (20-22, 8-9 CUSA) struggled at the plate, managing just one hit against the Hilltoppers (21-17, 7-9 CUSA). recorded the lone hit in the fifth inning. Despite drawing nine walks, MTSU was unable to capitalize. The Blue Raiders' only run came in the first inning when walked with the bases loaded.
