MTSU will look to extend its winning streak to seven games Thursday night when the Blue Raiders play host to Vanderbilt at Murphy Center.
The Blue Raiders are 8-1 and have a No. 9 to 11 RPI, while Vanderbilt comes in at 5-4.
"It's another good Vanderbilt team," said MTSU coach Kermit Davis. "They shoot the ball well and they've lost some close games so far. We're going to have to play with a lot of energy, and I hope we're going to have a great crowd."
MTSU went on the road last week and defeated Ole Miss 77-62 and South Alabama 67-55 to run its winning streak to six games.
