Box Score STATESBORO, Ga. – Middle Tennessee softball went two-for-two on Friday, defeating North Carolina A&T and Georgia Southern to improve to 9-3 on the season.
The Blue Raiders won the first game against North Carolina A&T, 8-0, where Keri Munn pitched five scoreless innings to get the win, her second of the season. MTSU scored three runs in the first, two in the second and three in the third.
Shelby Echols went 3-for-3 at the plate. The Blue Raiders tallied a total of 11 hits.
In the second game of the day, Laura Mealer opened the game with a two-run home run in the top of the first.
