MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Adams Tennis Complex was home to great college tennis on Sunday, as Middle Tennessee pulled off the upset of No. 62 Iowa and followed that up with a shutout over Alabama A&M.
The Hawkeyes struck first in doubles, winning 6-2 at No. 2. The Blue Raiders were not to be counted out, however. and teamed up to take a 6-4 victory at No. 2, forcing all eyes to be on court 1. and came back from down 4-5 at the No. 1 spot to take clinch the doubles point with a score of 7-5.
