MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The rain held off long enough for the Middle Tennessee baseball team to defeat Valparaiso, 5-2, in the opening game of its weekend series. The Blue Raiders (8-3, C-USA 0-0) were led by a strong performance from starting pitcher who struck out a career high 11 Crusaders (1-6, Missouri Valley 0-0) and earned his third win this season.
"Aaron [Brown] has been pitching extremely well for us and has given us a chance to win in every start that he's had," said Head Coach . "He works his tail off, he's very mature, and he's a team guy.
