QUEENS, N.Y. — The Middle Tennessee volleyball team finished the weekend 2-1 after dropping their final match against St. John's. The Blue Raiders dropped the first two sets and bounced back in the third, but fell short in the end of a 24-26 fourth set loss.
The Blue Raiders (10-3, 0-0 C-USA) battled with the St. John's Red Storm (9-4, 0-0 BIG EAST) in their first meeting ever, dropping it late 1-3 (16-25, 24-26, 25-17, 24-26). The Blue Raiders managed to only get outhit by St. John's .004, as they hit .269 to the Red Storm's .
