BLACKSBURG, Va. – The Middle Tennessee men's tennis team fell on the road, 4-1, to Virginia Tech on Sunday.
Middle Tennessee (4-3, 1-0 C-USA) began the match with and picking up a close 7-6 (7-2) victory on court two in doubles, defeating the Hokies' Chrysostom and Harper. However, VT won on courts one and three, 7-5 and 7-6 (7-4), respectively, to win the doubles point.
picked up Middle Tennessee's lone point on the day with a 6-2, 7-6 victory over Donata on court one. On court six, fell to Fishback in straight sets 6-3, 6-4.
