SAN ANTONIO – Both teams combined for 27 hits, but it was UTSA (8-11,1-1) who was able to outscore the Blue Raiders (6-12, 1-1) by a score of 10-4.
The Blue Raiders scored a run in the first and second innings to take an early 2-0 lead, but it was all Roadrunners after that. UTSA would come back in the third inning to score three runs and obtain their first and last lead of the day. They would tack on runs in the fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth innings to pull out ahead.
Middle Tennessee would grab a run in each of the eighth and ninth inning as Darrell Freeman Jr.
