PARADISE ISLAND, Bahamas – Hampered by turnovers and poor shooting percentages, Middle Tennessee dropped its final game of the Battle 4 Atlantis Friday evening against Stanford, 67-54.
Both the Blue Raiders and Cardinal started sloppy on Friday evening, combining for 23 turnovers before halftime while shooting just 32 and 30 percent, respectively, from the floor.
After a 4-4 score in the opening moments, a pair of 3-pointers by Stanford quickly opened up a 6-point lead before the MT would respond. Respond they did, though, with an 8-0 run capped off by an old fashioned 3-point play by Antonio Green to give him five points early on.
