KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Junior Francisco Rocha's 10th singles victory of the Fall season—a win which upended the No. 89-ranked Florian Broska, for his second ranked win of the weekend—highlighted an up-and-down day for Middle Tennessee at day two of the Volunteer Showdown.
MT grabbed one win in four doubles matches against duos from Mississippi State. The combo of juniors, Pavel Motl and Stijn Slump edged out the No. 43 ranked duo of Broska/Ocana (6-4).
Led by Rocha, the Raiders split the eight singles matches to for a combined five wins on the day.
