WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — With a much-improved front nine and four more birdies on the back nine, Middle Tennessee's jumped 27 spots on Tuesday shooting a 68 (-4) in the second round of the NCAA West Lafayette Regional.
Stamper is now in a tie for 13th overall at 1-under (143) for the tournament, which is being played at the par-72 Kampen-Cosler Course. He's just three strokes off the advancing individual spot going into the final day of competition.
The senior from Scottsville, Kentucky began round two with 15 consecutive holes of par or better, including birdies on holes 1, 10, 13, 14 and 15.
