MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – A five-minute swing in singles play lifted Middle Tennessee (10-2) from down 0-2 to a 3-2 lead, and Tom Moonen clinched the Blue Raiders' win over Wisconsin (5-6) on Sunday.
The Badgers struck first by winning in doubles on courts one and three. Miguel Negre Fernandez and Gonzalo Morell Raschiatore were unable to finish their match at No. 2, tied 4-4.
"They brought a lot of team energy," MT head coach Jimmy Borendame said. "I just let our guys know that this team isn't going to go away.
