LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The Middle Tennessee women's soccer team (4-7-0, 1-2-0 CUSA) closed out its two-match road trip with a 0-1 loss to the New Mexico State Aggies (7-4-1, 2-1-0 CUSA) on Sunday afternoon at the NMSU Soccer Complex in Las Cruces, N.M.
The opening 45 minutes were relatively quiet in terms of scoring opportunities with just six total attempts on goal, four for New Mexico State to two from Middle Tennessee. Blue Raider goalkeeper made four stops in the first half to keep the score level at 0-0 heading into the halftime break.
Midfielder , making her fourth start this season today, and defender recorded the pair of chances in opening half of play, but the Blue Raiders continued to search for the match's first goal.
