MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee Softball earned a decisive 19-1 victory over the Snead State Community College Parsons on Thursday evening, scoring in all but two innings of the 10-inning affair.
Senior Gretchen Mead started on the mound for the Blue Raiders, pitching three innings, striking out three batters, and giving up just two hits. Freshman Keri Munn had two innings of work, putting down three batters, and giving up the Parsons' sole run of the contest on a pair of hits, and walked a batter. Senior Kailey Ahlstrom pitched two innings.
