NASHVILLE, Tenn..—Middle Tennessee (16-15, 7-5 C-USA) showed up to Ken Dugan Field on Tuesday night in search of a complete team win. A complete team win is exactly what the Blue Raiders got, collecting a total of eight hits and 10 strikeouts on the mound en route to a 7-0 shutout over host Lipscomb (18-14, 7-5 ASUN) to put them a game over .500 on the season.
"We had a lot of new guys in the lineup step up and Jack Julian threw five shutout innings on his 21st birthday," said Middle Tennessee Head Coach Jim Toman.
