MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Middle Tennessee track and field team is at it's final destination of the season for the 2022 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. The four-day meet in Eugene, Oregon will see the Blue Raiders send five student-athletes across seven events, the most in Conference USA.
Junior Alaba Akintola is primed to become the first Blue Raider to run a sub-10 100 meter after weeks of resetting his program record. Akintola will start with the 100-meter preliminaries on Wednesday at 7:46 p.m, which will future fellow Nigerian, Favour Ashe of UT-Knoxville, in the same heat.
