LYNCHBURG, Va. – Middle Tennessee's season came to an end with a 4-1 loss to Louisiana Tech in the semifinals of the Conference USA tournament.
In doubles, the Bulldogs got off to a strong start, earning a win on Court three as Mio Kozaki and Nina Skoric defeated Ilaria Sposetti and Cassidy Mataia, 6-2. The Blue Raiders answered quickly, with Alessia Truden and Rutuja Chaphalker posting a 6-2 victory over Alice Brook and Maria Tsironi.
That left the doubles point to be decided on Court one, where Middle Tennessee's Lena Peyer and Eloise Swarbrick faced Ana Rodrigues and Zoie Epps.
