Coming into the match, star forward Peyton DePriest's school record of 49 goals had her tied for the lead for most career goals scored in Conference USA women's soccer history.
However, a game tying goal with 16 seconds left in the game led to the eventual game-winner in overtime by the Evansville Purple Aces, who handed Middle Tennessee its' first home loss of the season; 3-2.
"I think we performed well," said Middle Tennessee Head Coach Aston Rhoden.
