MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee falls 5-2 to No. 28 South Florida.
The Bulls swept doubles play, claiming the point with wins on courts one and two. Hugo Car and Ettore Danesi defeated Karim Al-Amin and Ondrej Horak, while Ben Hudson and Toto Llanes topped Rostislav Halfinger and Kristian Thomas.
In singles, Halfinger came out strong, earning a straight-set victory, 6-4, 6-3, over USF's Gughi Verdese. Al-Amin also picked up a win for the Blue Raiders, rallying from a set down to defeat No. 54 Car, 4-6, 6-4, 7-5.
