Murfreesboro, Tenn.—After taking the loss yesterday, Southern Mississippi (18-10, 1-1 CUSA) made the decision to send yesterday's starter Morgan Leinstock back into the circle on Saturday. That decision proved to be a good one by the Golden Eagle coaching staff, as Leinstock threw a complete game and allowed just two runs in Southern Mississippi's 6-2 win over Middle Tennessee (13-15, 1-1 CUSA).
"(Leinstock) didn't really do anything much different than she did yesterday," said Middle Tennessee Head Coach . "We got ourseleves down by six runs. Everybody knows we're down big. We were able to get runners into scoring position in those first two innings and we could've had a couple hits to get back in the game and we didn't do that.
