MADEIRA BEACH, Fla. - Middle Tennessee started off their time in Madeira Beach on Friday and lost each of their games against Purdue and Colgate.

Purdue (4-4) finished the game with 12 runs on 14 hits as they downed Middle Tennessee (5-6) 12-3 on Friday morning.
Despite being held scoreless in the first two innings, the Boilermakers struck for three runs in the third to take a 3-1 lead over the Blue Raiders before scoring eight runs in the fourth inning and adding another in the fifth.
