WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - Middle Tennessee (11-9, 1-0) dominated William and Mary 5-1 on Sunday morning as they wrapped up a successful weekend in Virginia before they return home to Adams Tennis Complex for a doubleheader on March 30.
Gonzalo Morell and took an early 4-2 lead on court three, and they never looked back securing the win at 6-2. After falling against VCU Saturday, the No. 52 duo and redeemed themselves in a tiebreaker clincher 7-6 (7-2) to earn first point of the match. and were left unfinished but led 6-5.
Heading into singles up 1-0, the Blue Raiders did not let up on the gas pedal.
