MURFREESBORO, Tenn. –Middle Tennessee State (8-13) wrapped up the MTSU Invitational with a pair of wins over North Alabama (14-6) and Detroit Mercy (0-9) in a Sunday doubleheader at the MTSU Softball Field.
Following a late-innings comeback against North Alabama, MTSU scored early and often to bury Detroit Mercy in the first of three straight contests between the Titans and the host Blue Raiders.

Following a 6-1 loss at the hands of the Lions on Saturday, MTSU wanted badly to get the bad taste out of it's mouth on Sunday morning.
