MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee (9-7-1, 5-3 C-USA) took the pageantry of senior night at the Dean A. Hayes Track and Soccer Stadium and made the most of it. The Blue Raiders scored early and often, playing with speed and hanging tough in a hard-fought, late-season battle with conference foe Marshall (3-11-2, 0-7-1 C-USA) in a 3-2 win.
"It was great to win on senior day in front of the fans who came out to support us, especially given the weather," said Blue Raider Head Coach Aston Rhoden. "Coming in, we wanted to set the tone early, we wanted to get not just a physical advantage but a mental advantage.
