Men's golf begins spring play Sunday in Puerto Rico

RIO GRANDE, PUERTO RICO – After a lengthy winter break, the Middle Tennessee men's golf team will get the spring season underway on Sunday at the Puerto Rico Classic. The 2018 field includes the defending national champion, two of the top three ranked teams in the country and seven ranked in the top 40.

The Blue Raiders will be one of 15 teams competing in the 26th annual Puerto Rico Classic that will be played on the Rio Mar Beach and Spa Resort's Ocean Course (6,716 yards). MT finished eighth in last year's event at the River Course with both Chip Thomas and Joey Savoie going under par.
