LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The Blue Raider men's cross country team remains perfect on the season after placing second only to Division II opponent Grand Valley State, while the women's team finished 18 at the Greater Louisville Classic Saturday morning in Louisville, Ky.
For the second straight meet and just the second race of his career, freshman Jacob Choge finished second overall, this week with a time of 23:37.23 in the 8k. The first year runner improved upon his impressive 24:03.7 time in the Commodore Classic 8k two weeks ago.
Choge finished just two seconds behind first place finisher and one of the nation's top runners in Edwin Kibichiy from Louisville.
