McKay leads Raiders into Top 5 at The Schenkel

STATESBORO, Ga. – The Blue Raiders managed to move up a spot on the team leaderboard despite failing to deliver their best on Saturday at the Schenkel Invitational, now sitting in fifth after a round of 7-over par 295.

Middle Tennessee will enter day three two strokes clear of sixth place College of Charleston (+8) and 10 strokes back of fourth place FGCU (-4), needing a strong round on Sunday to hold off the Cougars and push the Eagles for the fourth spot.

"The conditions were very difficult for us out there today, and I'm not very happy with the way we finished the round," Head Coach Mark McEntire said.
