MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Full bellies will have to be overcome Saturday when Middle Tennessee and Florida Atlantic take the Floyd Stadium turf.
The Thanksgiving weekend showdown against the reigning Conference USA champion Owls (5-1, 4-1) is much-anticipated for the Blue Raiders (3-6, 2-4), who will play their first home game in 42 days.
"They're a very good football team and very athletic," MT head coach Rick Stockstill said. "They're doing a really good job of not giving up many points … and it will be a great challenge for us, but we're looking forward to it.
