MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Team Blue plated four runs in the first inning on the way to their 7-1 victory on a chilly Saturday at Reese Smith Jr. Field. The win marks their first in the 2017 Blue-White World Series, they now trail two games to one.
Team Blue jumped on opposing freshman pitcher Zach Keenan early. Myles Christian got things started when he tripled down the right field line on the game's first pitch. He finished the day 2-for-4 at the plate, scoring two runs.
