MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee Soccer (3-3-1) came up slightly short on comeback bid against the ETSU Buccaneers (3-1-0) on Friday evening inside Dean A. Hayes Track & Soccer Stadium.
The Blue Raiders outshot ETSU 20-9, including a 10-4 mark with on-target shots. Middle Tennessee also held a 4-1 advantage in corners in the contest.
Senior Peyton DePriest committed seven shots in the contest, putting a match-high four on target, as well as netting the Blue Raiders sole goal of the contest.
In net, junior Hannah Suder played all 90 minutes for the Blue Raiders, tallying two saves in the contest.
