MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee women's tennis increased their win streak to five after an unblemished outing, defeating Arkansas-Pine Bluff 7-0 Friday at the Adams Tennis Complex.
Swiftly securing the doubles point over the Lions, Blue Raiders pair and shut out UAPB's Nall/Hapke, 6-0. They were followed by and clinching the doubles point for the Raiders on court 2 with a 6-0 win over Kallie and Lepe.
Leading 1-0 headed into singles, Peris wasted no time on court 4 and quickly took down Lepe in the first set, 6-0. Peris maintained speed as she entered the second set and closed out the match in a straight-set victory over Lepe, 6-0, 6-0.
