JACKSONVILLE, Ala. – Thanks to a balanced offensive attack and strong defense, Middle Tennessee rolled past Jax State 67-45 on Wednesday evening at the Pete Mathews Coliseum.
The Lady Raiders (15-4, 5-0 CUSA) used an early 12-0 run to take a nine-point lead over the Gamecocks (6-11, 1-4 CUSA) entering the first media break. MTSU would continue to shutdown the Jax State offense and take a 23-8 lead into the second quarter. The Lady Raiders continued to knock down transition threes and feed junior Anastasiia Boldyreva in the paint to build a 19-point lead.
