LAS VEGAS, N.V. – Middle Tennessee got off to a strong start in the opening game of the UNLV Lady Rebel Roundup, using another balanced scoring attack to down Dartmouth, 70-58, and punch its ticket into Sunday's title game.
The Lady Raiders (4-2) had four players score in double figures as they controlled the game from the outset, leading for all but 4 minutes and 21 seconds. They will play the winner of the UNLV vs. UC-Santa Barbara game Sunday.
Freshman guard Taylor Sutton led Middle Tennessee with 17 points on the strength of four 3-pointers, followed by A'Queen Hayes with 15, Anna Jones with 14 and Alex Johnson added 13 in the triumph.
