The Tigers took the first point in the match by winning at No. 1 and 3 doubles. and senior were the first off the courts with a dominate 6-3 win. On court one, and battled back from a 4-2 deficit to tie it up at 5-5 but would fall 7-5. Memphis clinched the doubles point with a 7-6 comeback win on court three.
Memphis took a 2-0 lead by taking court two. The Blue Raiders caught fire with a strong momentum swing as , and quickly took their matches in straight sets.
