When Riverdale hosts Blackman on Friday night in the Kia of Murfreesboro Game of the Week, both teams will probably be in the mood for a fight.
Blackman is coming off a 49-10 loss at Chattanooga McCallie to open the season last Friday, Riverdale saw a frantic rally come up short in a 27-20 home loss to Franklin.
"I told our kids we have a 24-hour rule and we forget it," said Riverdale first-year coach Will Kriesky. "We just didn't do what it takes to beat a team like Franklin, and we'll have to make a lot of improvement and correct our mistakes if we're going to have an opportunity to win our first district game.
