Blackman's boys and Riverdale's girls are clear-cut favorite to win the District 7-AAA tournament, which begins on Wednesday at Blackman
Both teams went 12-0 in league play to earn the top seeds and automatic berth to the Region 4 tournament. Stewarts Creek's girls and Oakland's boys are No. 2 seeds and also earned an automatic bid to the region tournament.
"I'm proud of our team," said Blackman coach Barry Wortman. "This is a tough league and to go undefeated is a big accomplishment. They've got great work ethic, and we're excited about the tournament. We're excited about playing at home for sure.
