IRVING, Texas – Middle Tennessee forward has been named Conference USA Co-Freshman of the Week after another solid outing for the Blue Raiders on their recent road swing to UTEP and UTSA.
Johnson, who earned her third C-USA Freshman of the Week honor, averaged 17 points and 3.5 rebounds, while shooting 47 percent from the field (11-for-23) and 84 percent (11-for-13) from the free-throw line in the two games.
"Alex had an outstanding road trip and was a key part of helping our team earn a split," Middle Tennessee Head Coach said.
