MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – It was a chilly, early spring evening in Murfreesboro Wednesday night, as Middle Tennessee Baseball faced the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles at Reese Smith Jr. Field.
But Gabe Jennings' bat didn't receive the memo about the weather. Instead, the third baseman, having started each game in 2023 at the corner infield position, went 4-5 with six RBI and a pair of doubles. He also added a home run in the seventh and was a triple away from the cycle.
The eight-hole hitter's output included career-highs in hits, doubles and RBI.
