MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – It took some grit, but Middle Tennessee left its home floor with its second Conference USA victory in a row Saturday night.
After trailing by double digits in the first half and as many as nine in the second, the Blue Raiders (5-14, 2-4) rallied to beat the Miners (6-11, 1-5), 75-72.
"It was a good win for our team tonight," MT head coach Nick McDevitt said. "There were a lot of things you don't normally see in a basketball game … but I thought our guys did a nice job of keeping their composure.
