Murfreesboro, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee volleyball's upcoming sophomore Kayla Henley was invited to the U.S. Women's National Volleyball Team Open Tryouts taking place Feb. 21-23 at the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo.
There will be 214 athletes at this year's tryouts from 94 colleges showcasing their skills in front of three-time Olympic gold medalist and U.S. Olympic Hall of Famer Karch Kiraly and the U.S. Women's Team staff for a chance at clenching a spot on the U.S. Women's National Team.
The 6-foot-1 right side hitter had an impressive freshman season as she finished third on the team in kills with 205, third in blocks with 53 and fifth in digs with 161.
