COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee put forth a tremendous second-half comeback against Tennessee Tech; however, they were not able to sustain the rally as the Golden Eagles claimed a 68-64 win here Friday.
The loss snapped a 13-game win streak against Tech for the Lady Raiders (2-1), who had three players in double figures led by A'Queen Hayes' career-high 21 points.
In fact, Hayes came off of the bench and registered her first double-double as a Lady Raider with 21 points and 10 rebounds, while also collecting three steals, blocking two shots and dishing out two assists in her 33 minutes of action.
