MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Aislynn Hayes continues to cement her candidacy for Conference USA Freshman of the Year with another C-USA Freshman of the Week honor, as announced by the league office today.
Hayes was named C-USA Freshman of the Week for the fifth time this season, joining former standout Alex Johnson for the most such honors by a Lady Raider and tied for the third most in C-USA history overall. The most is 11, held by Rice's Jessica Kuster during the 2010-11 season. FIU's Kiandre'a Pound captured six in 2014-15.
Hayes averaged double figures once again for the two games with 11.
