MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee standout guard Anastasia Hayes has been named College Sports Madness High-Major National Player of the Week, and Conference USA Player of the Week for the second straight week.
Hayes put together another sensational week, averaging 32 points, 7.5 rebounds, 6.5 assists and 1.5 steals in Lady Raider victories against defending Sun Belt champion and preseason favorite Troy and Lipscomb.
Hayes collected her second double-double of the season against Troy with 29 points and 10 assists to go with seven rebounds. She poured in 35 points, added eight rebounds and three assists in the win against Lipscomb.
