MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Anastasia Hayes has been named Conference USA Player of the Week after putting together two dynamic performances in which she averaged a double-double and nearly averaged a triple-double.
It marks the fourth time Hayes has earned the league's weekly honor that is chosen by the league's 14 communication directors.
Hayes, the C-USA Preseason Co-Player of the Year, averaged 27.5 points and 10 rebounds in games vs. Tulane and TCU. She also averaged seven assists per contest.
"I appreciate the consideration and those who voted for me for this award," Hayes said.
