MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee head coach Rick Insell announced the addition of back-to-back All-West Tennessee Player of the Year and two-time Tennessee Miss Basketball finalist Jada Harrison during the first day of the NCAA Early Signing Period Wednesday.
"Jada fits our program to a T in the fact that she's a team player," Insell said. "It's not about her as much as it's about what she can do to make our program successful. That's one of the reasons we recruited her."
Harrison, a dynamic guard out of Martin, Tenn., led Westview High School to its first state championship since 1996 last season as the tournament's MVP.
