DALLAS – Following strong performances against Tennessee and Tennessee Tech, Middle Tennessee guard Jalynn Gregory was named the Conference USA Player of the Week, as announced by the league office Monday afternoon.
Gregory, a junior from Lafayette, Tennessee picked up her third career weekly accolade – she was previously named Freshman of the Week twice in 2022.
The sharpshooter helped lead the Lady Raiders to a 2-0 week, with a pair of wins over in-state opponents. She tallied 22 points, five rebounds and three assists in Middle Tennessee's 73-62 win over Tennessee. This marked the first win over the Lady Vols in program history and ended a 17-game win streak for Tennessee against in-state opponents.
