BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Five Blue Raiders posted top finishes on Sunday at the Kevin Stevenson Invite in Birmingham.
Sophomore Trevon Sanders inked a personal-best and a first place finish in the 800 meter event crossing the finish line with a time of 1:52.99. Similarly, junior Kigen Chemadi finished first in the mile run with a time of 4:13.57.
On the women's side Janet Amponsah, Pamela Kosgei, and Qetuwrah Abdullah-Muhammad recorded first place finishes in their respective events. Amponsah finished with a time of 23.96 in the 200-meter while Abdullah-Muhammad jumped 1.
