Floyd Walker has been on the football field as an assistant coach for almost 30 years.
On Monday, he was back on it again, but in a much different capacity when spring drills began at Eagleville.
Walker, who replaced Steve Carson as the Eagles head coach in the offseason, admits there was some nervousness going in to spring practice.
"Nerves is the first thing that comes to mind," Walker said when asked about his thoughts as being a head coach for the first time. "You want to make sure that you've got everything covered, from shells to uniforms to players knowing their positions and just the overall situation.
