MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – As Middle Tennessee enters fall camp to prep for the 2018 season, it does so with its starting quarterback spot locked down by the same name it's been for four years now.
Redshirt senior Brent Stockstill enters his final fall camp as maybe the greatest Blue Raider QB ever, already owning most of the program's passing records. He's on the Maxwell Award, Davey O'Brien Award and Wuerffel Award Watch Lists for the third time each.
While Stockstill is firmly planted as the team's starting signal caller and leader, behind him there's a battle brewing for the lead backup position.
